Summer is here and temperatures are rising by the minute. With renewed energy and rays of sunshine bursting through the skies, WAY extends the SUN Collection with a new exciting collaboration with Salvation Army Copenhagen.

The SUN Collection is designed to be the ultimate resort wear for sun chasers of all genders who enjoy long days by the pool or at seaside destinations LIKE OURSELVES. Each piece is onesize, one of a kind and reconstructed from handpicked vintage mens shirts in sizes L/XL. The collection is a playful alternative to a beach wardrobe with a breezy relaxed fit for sun kissed skin.

Each shirt is hand-picked in collaboration with Salvation Army Copenhagen and is afterwards sorted and matched by our design team. When matching the shirts our design team takes into consideration colour, pattern and individual details such as look of the collar, cuffs and buttons to create a unique and curated style to go into the collection. In production all labels are removed, the shirts are cut and sewn together with their counterpart to make the desired style and buttons are moved to match with the buttonholes.

Every style is one of a kind, and each step in the process demands careful attention to detail, as no two shirts are the same.

The SUN collection consists of 4 styles; SUN Shirt with a classic yet contemporary take on the oversize shirt. SUN Shirt Long; a button down long kaftan inspired shirt, SUN Crop Shirt and finally SUN Shorts with bottom down details on both legs that speaks to the nature and origin of the product. The SUN Shorts are made in a unisex size range XS – XL.

All styles are made by the use of two to four shirts in a curated colour univers of light blues, whites, stripes, checks and a few pastels.
