WAY is a lifestyle brand that is based in Copenhagen but caters to the world. The brand was founded in 2019 on the idea of creating premium eco-friendly products that minimize a traveller’s climate footprint. The three founders of WAY are all travel enthusiasts, who has come to realize that if we want to keep exploring the world, we will have to change the way we do it.

The three founders of WAY are all travel enthusiast, WHo have come to realize that if we want to keep exploring the world, we will have to change the way we do it.

WAY was founded by Christel Lerche, Marie Schoeyen and Jakob Lau. All three come from a background in fashion with many years of individual experience within specialized fields. We all share a passion for climate challenges, travelling and design.

Our journey begins with a towel. We have noticed that beach towels are never big or long enough and take forever to dry. Beach towels are normally left at home as they take up too much space in your suitcase. This is why we have made a towel that is big enough to cover your entire sunbed but still light enough for you to travel with. Every day millions of gallons of water are used to wash hotel and beach towels that have only been used once. The WAY towel is meant to be used time and time again, thereby saving water and minimizing the impact on the environment. The towel is ethically made by our certified partner in Portugal. We hope that the WAY towel will be your future travel companion.

One of the biggest climate challenges we are facing is waste and plastic pollution, as it destroys our oceans, ecosystems, wildlife and is threatening the health of our planet. This is why WAY have teamed up with the Australian organization Take 3 For The Sea, who encourage people to pick up three pieces of rubbish at the beach. Take 3 is building a global movement of people who are connected to the planet. For every donation per WAY towel sold, a person will be educated through a waste and plastic pollution programme.
